2020 Women's Retreat: Stronger than the Storm

The Saint George Island Women's Retreat starts on Friday evening, Feb. 7, and ends on Sunday, Feb. 9, at noon. The houses are available at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 so feel free to come down early and enjoy the day at the beach.

Our speakers this year are our very own, Rev. Dr. Kandace Brooks and Rev. Becky Rokitowski! The retreat entitled, Stronger than the Storm, is inspired by the following Bible verse:
But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…
2 Corinthians 4:7-9

This is a great opportunity to invite your mother, daughter or friend to spend some time with you. Space is limited.

Half the fun of the retreat is the bonding done across the generations in our houses. We keep the price affordable by sharing queen and king beds. Roommate request will be honored but we can't promise the configuration of the houses. So far, we have space for 34 people and all of our houses have elevators.

Registration includes lodging, materials, lunch & dinner on Saturday. In order to keep the registration fee low, each house will be responsible for providing their own breakfast food and beverages. "House Moms" will coordinate with their housemates.

The fee for the retreat is $150.00 per person. Any amount given over $150.00 will be put towards our Women's Retreat scholarship fund. We can not guarantee refunds due to cancellations.

Limited scholarship funds are available. Please list below if you are in need of a partial or full scholarship and we will contact you with availability.

Additional details will be emailed to you late January.

If you are unable to submit a form it is because we have reached capacity. Please contact Peggy Benton at (850) 385-5146 to be put on a waiting list. If possible, we will rent additional houses.
