Begins June 24, 2020 | Join us as we read and discuss White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism by Robin DiAngelo.
In this book DiAngelo discusses the phenomenon of white fragility and “allows us to understand racism as a practice not restricted to ‘bad people’” DiAngelo examines how behaviors of white fragility function to reinstate white racial equilibrium and prevent any meaningful cross-racial dialogue; how white fragility develops, how it protects racial inequality, and what we can do to engage more constructively.

Once you register for the course, you will receive a link to a 20 minute video from the author Robin DiAngelo that will allow you to begin thinking about the contents of the book and class.
